- Hesychios of Miletos
- Sixth-century historian whose works survive in fragments in the works of Photios, and in the Souda (qq.v.). He wrote a chronicle (q.v.) from the period of ancient Assyria to the death of Anastasios I (q.v.) in 518. He also wrote a history (q.v.) of his own time, which focused on the reign of Justin I and the early history of Justinian I (qq.v.).
